Located within the three main terminal buildings of Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is a fine selection of facilities aimed at both passengers and visitors.

Those in need of ATM cash points will find them readily available in the terminal buildings, being easy to locate and well signed. There are also some 120 shops and restaurants, newsstands and newsagents aplenty, and lots of seating and dining areas. Also at Newark Liberty International are duty free outlets, an Interfaith chapel, paging services, luggage storage and traveler's aid. For last-minute quality souvenirs, consider visiting the airport's Metropolitan Museum of Art Store in Terminal C.

Information counters are situated in Terminal A and Terminal B, where they provide a wide range airport, airline and New York-related details, facts and leaflets. There are many multilingual staff available if required, being easy to identify by their bright red jackets.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets


Terminal C is certainly the place to come shopping at Newark Airport, with more than 40 stores in which to spend your hard-earned money. These include BlackBerry by Wireless Giant, Brookstone, CNBC News, Hudson Booksellers, Hudson News, Swatch and three branches of Dufry Duty and Tax Free. Terminals A and B each have roughly 15 shops, with names like Airport Wireless - Palm One, America!, Creative Kids, EJE Duty Free, Hudson Booksellers, Hudson News, InMotion Entertainment, Papyrus and Taxco Sterling.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants


With almost 80 restaurants, eateries, bars and coffee shops scattered around the airport, passengers certainly won't struggle to find somewhere to eat. Terminal C has the best selection, with most being situated post-security, including Asian Chao, Auntie Anne's, Balducci's, Famous Famiglia, the Garden State Diner, the Grand Central Oyster Bar, Hamachi Sushi, McDonald's and Smashburger. In Terminal A you can choose between Cheeburger Cheeburger, Dunkin' Donuts, Market Fresh, Ruby Tuesday, Tony Roma's and Villa Pizza, while in Terminal B, Champp's, Chili's Too, Island Chicken, the Java Moon Café, the Mediterranean Bistro and the Newark Express all compete for your attention.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities


Currency exchange is provided by Travelex, with one outlet in Terminal A (between gates A20-28 and A30-39), and a total of five outlets in Terminal B (International Arrivals Door no. 9, and gates 51-57, B46, B56 and B60-68). There are also various ATMs, should you simply need a little cash for a vending machine.

Business and Conference Facilities


Internet access, fax machines, payphones, individual workstations and photocopiers can all be found onsite. However, for more comprehensive business facilities, head to the airline lounges or the neighboring Marriott Hotel.
